Russell S. Drazin
Russell S. Drazin is a Member of Pardo & Drazin, LLC, and currently serves on the Firm’s Executive Committee.
Practicing in all three local jurisdictions, Russell’s practice includes all types of business litigation and counseling, with an emphasis on real estate, title insurance, and creditors’ rights (including foreclosures). Russell principally represents mortgage lenders, property owners, and title insurance companies and their insureds.
Russell received his law degree from The George Washington University Law School, where he was elected to the Moot Court Board. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester, where he graduated magna cum laude, received highest honors in the University’s History Department, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa (Iota of New York chapter).
Russell is a 2006 graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy’s (NITA) “National Session” in Louisville, Colorado. Founded in 1971, NITA is recognized as the premier trial advocacy training institute for practicing attorneys. The “National Session,” which began in 1972, is NITA’s foremost program.
Russell’s family has lived and worked in the Washington and Baltimore metropolitan areas for five generations. Russell was born in the District, raised in Rockville, Maryland, and lives in Georgetown. He is a 1992 graduate of the Maret School.
Russell is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland.
Russell is an active member of the District of Columbia Land Title Association, the Virginia Land Title Association, the Maryland Land Title Association.
Russell teaches seminars for real estate professionals on topics related to his practice. Most recently, he spoke on foreclosures to title agents and underwriters at the 2010 Annual Convention of the Virginia Land Title Association.
